projectdescription
As an album release and installation, THE MINUTES is an archive from the seven iterations of SILENT|LISTEN. The minutes take the form of acousmatic compositions made entirely from statements recorded during performances at the Baltimore Museum of Art in Baltimore, U.S.A., Armand Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, U.S.A., Walter Philips Gallery in Banff, Canada, Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, U.S.A., Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, U.S.A., and Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto, Canada. In the installation, the compositions are heard through headphones installed below posters of the protocol used to facilitate each of the events.

(Organized by Dont Rhine and Robert Sember.)
