projectdescription
Your Voice . . . Your Words . . . Your Time To Speak Out! Members of The Monitoring Group, the sound art collective Ultra-red, and local residents invite all to come together to discuss the questions: WHAT DO YOU HEAR? Is There Racism In England's Southwest? This special event will feature informal presentations, audio recordings from the region and discussion on experiences of racism in England's southwest and what we can do to fight it. This event launches a collaboration between The Monitoring Group and Ultra-red on a sound project to take place in the south of England this summer. The project will involve local communities and their struggles for racial and migrant justice.
